What should i stalk up on if i just want to compound to level up primary and junior alchemy

rank 1 items works best.

alchemy stats are gained due to a success. so if you get rank 2 or higher while using a lvl 1 item you will lvl it fast. After it gets to lvl 5 it slows then and you need double the items, and then lvl 7 you will need to do triple amount of things you compound. By lvl 9 its quadruple. and etc etc.. higher you lvl the more things you will need to compound.

but its best to stick with lvl 1 items. like wheat base, wood based, copper based or even coal based for example. because those items hardly have any rank 3's and you will mostly likely always jump to a +4.

You can buy laurn wood, to make wooden cogs and copper ores all from kelan shop.

Feel free to go there and read more if you are confused.. his translation is not well but you get the idea of most things he is saying.

The best guide i say is experience you gain from your own knowledge. I know most of what i know from compounding myself. after you get used to it you will realize its not so hard. and you will think of way to create your own short cuts... or what a base, rank and jump means. like i did with the wheat based and coal based items due to their large jumps.

OHHH nvm i didnt realize there were 30 lvls of alchemy

oh would it count as more if you compounded by stacks at a time
like in sted of doing 50 ore compounds one by one i just put 2 stacks in would that give me the same skill exp

Yes. I think primary maxes at 15 or 30
junior maxes at 20 or 25
and senior maxes at 30.

I'm not sure if this char is only for primary or its its for all of them.
