Alright.. I noticed people like to take screenshots and post it on either the main website or even in here so i might just inform all of you guys.. For those that don't know, whenever you take a screenshot of your wlo screen, your I.P. address or some numbers appears below the date and time at the top left of the screen. (refer to spoiler to see) Those numbers can potentially be used to hack your accounts or maybe even your PC. Yes it can, by knowing a little bit of information, even the tiniest could open doors to "evil geniuses" out there so please be careful.

Always cover those numbers up when you take a screenie and plan on posting it everywhere cause it can be a possible way to be hacked. I'm telling you people now cause when my friend saw my screenshot of wlo that i was planning to edit, he noticed the numbers and told me "i think that's your I.P. address right there. Maybe it can't be used or maybe it can but just a fair warning to all. After all, it never kills to be careful :)

I usually just use the Print screen program from lighshot.com, one button on the keyboard, select what you want to screen and then save it wherever, or upload it online. (: Sadly there are no accounts functions and if you lose the link to the screen, without saving the picture, you can't get it back again, without re-screening it again.

I noticed that a while ago myself that's why I just use print screen which is even quicker in my opinion.

But what will happen to all those people who didn't know that and have already posted screenshots without covering those letters/ numbers on the top left corner of the picture? It could be in any of the thousands of topics created here. How will the people know where to find it and remove it quickly??

That is actually quite a big problem when you think clearly about it...

yes its a big problem since ppl can get acc/or worse their pc hacked

yea and there could be so many out there in the hundreds of topics posted here... hopefully there should be a way to fix that problem.. x.x

I'm well aware of that thing about covering the I.P. address when taking screenshots in-game using Alt + P for safety purposes

The thing is, I never follow or do that. I mean not covering the IP.

But thanks for this reminder, I'll consider using Print Screen and Paint for screenshots now. Yes they're fast though sometimes I get lazy cropping the picture but I'll try.

Just y-day I saw like 6-7 photos with IP uncovered... Hope nothing bad happens :3
