Aries is the same way. Prices have more than doubled in the last few months. I had an argument with someone last week about the prices, they said the prices have always been the same. I told them that was BS, then they tried saying it was because of the cost of doing quests like DS because of eq breakage. When I told them I've done DS 12 times and it does not cost 12 Million to do they finally shut up.

I wish all the crack heads would go home and stop ruining the game.

I know what you mean, I created a chara on Aries server just to check prices there, and I was shocked. There was barely anything, that costed the same or was at least close to Libra prices (and a rarity to find something even cheaper).

The prices on Aries were two or three times as high as here (if not even more). I only thought "I couldn't buy a crumb here with the gold I have ... O_O;"

I wonder how people are able to get such enormous amounts of money to buy some good armor, an alchemy book for compounding or whatever ...

There are few players that sell DS for 12 Million. Others get their gold from selling IM stuff for enormous profits.

But the majority of us cannot afford those prices. I hope that once all those idiots paying the high prices get all the equipment they need the market will collapse, and prices will return to normal. This is probably wishful thinking, but if there are no buyers maybe it will happen.

If it doesn’t I fear that a lot of people will quit the game. It must be very discouraging for new people to see these high prices.

That was my thought, I would never ever create a chara on Aries to play there, since prices are so unbelievable high. You really would have to bot (what is cheating in my personal opinion) to get all the money which is needed. And also, why would ,or can, anyone buy an alchemy book 3 or 4 for a price, for which you can already buy the weapon or armor, which the compounding POSSIBLY gives @_@? That doesn't seem to make sense for me at all ...

People are not compounding high level eq like they used to because of the high cost of books. You used to be able to find just about anything you needed, but now its hard to find some items. I know some alchemists have joined together and stopped compounding until prices come back down. I applaud them and hope it works. If prices dont return to normla i dont think i will be playing much longer.

Yes I for one agree with u guys that prices need to come way down!! about 4-5 months ago u could get a red diamond for about 30k and now they r 50-55k!!
fur cloths (ATK) used to be 110-130k and now they r 180-200k!! I think u see what i'm getting at. I try to make most of my equips but only when i get books from drops and my characters were so out dated that i looked like a noob at lvl 110-123! I finally did a lil gouging of my own and sold carnies for 20k each jus so i could up grade all my armor and equips. Only things i want now and for a while r Red Dragon Gown and Cross Pike. Cross Pike i would be lucky if i could get one for 500-750k cause i was told they r 1.6-5 mil and have seen this for myself!!! I have done some serious thot of changing servers but i have so much invested and so many good friends on Aries that is hard to make a decision like that!! Well i thot i would jus give some input from my home server and hope i didn't get off topic. Thanx for others noticing the price gouging:)

That is so very true i have a recurring clientel because of my prices the most you spend is 1m and thats for say the maid robot and the other more pricier items that have lasting values. with the tokens i allow ppl to make offers and i will sell them for 1-5k because they are only 5p's and they may not win anything so i think that is fair

3 months ago I bought 4 8% bomb diamonds for 30k today you're lucky to find them for 120k. A big part of the problem is IGG they make it so hard to get items from IM games that people feel they are justified in charging these ridiculous prices.

I think the only way to get prices down is if we stop buying stuff. If we boycott buying from IM or IM items IGG would get the message real fast, and don’t buy for eq that has gone up in price either.

yes i wouldn't ave a problem selling tokens for that either but not when after buying them and selling them i can't buy anything that is close to my characters lvl or only being able to buy jus one and then buy more tokens to sell. boycotting IM will not work u have to many rich kids that can buy anything they desire so they r the only ones that will end up with the good equips while everyone else suffers.

I agree with everything you said onxblaq. Its just unfortunate that IGG doesnt care enough to do something about the prices. IDK what they can do but im sure they can do something.

o.o such high prices i sell book 2 for 35k XD book 3 is 45k and alot r buying even ordering ahead of time.. but unfortunately i took a break on buyin pts atm lol and those prices can be lowered by 5k if negotiated properly XD

naah, I think this game is already easy enough. Remote, vacuum, fishing, alt accounts, and all the stuff that's prohibited in other games- here is legal! If somebody still whines about high prices I see it beeing really weak. If you can't afford something just don't buy it... -_-

Besides high prices r a problem for everyone even for some that have money cause we all try to save where and when we can so if thats weak then sorry that u feel that way.

I make most of the stuff I need also, and i sell items as well as quest help. My complaint is why have prices skyrocketed in the last 2 months something that used to cost a million now costs 4 million. That is just greed plain and simple.

Not everyone can run alot clients to do loads of different stuff at the same time to earn the big money. I already have bad lag with 3 clients and more can even cause dc.

And saying overpricing is not okay isn't whining or weak (Are the rip-off people then cool and tough?). We are talking here about real overpricers who try to suck out every single gold of their customers they have. It is not like we aren't willing to pay FAIR prices. I don't know from which server you are, but the prices on Aries are just sick. Here a few examples, I will put the Libra prices in brackets as a comparison:

argh.. well i dont know much about aries to be honest.. but i have gone to that server many times before.. by boyfriend wanted to switch to that server.. so i thought i would look one day, and i noticed the prices are exactly the same.. so lmfao. i can't you can't run and hide from it. unfortunately :(

i saw book 3 150k in last weeks but today i saw for 175k==so prices went up again..and book 3 cost 175k not because of IM buyers..cause they sell for 70-100k but resellers make those prices

I dont know much about prices of high lvl eq, but I think things in Aries are so expensive are because there are so many people. You should come see kelan/north of Kelan in A1. I hide(minimise) other people's tents, which makes it easier for me to find my tent, but my tent can still get overwhelmed by the shops and other tents! The first time I got there, I laughed for almost 15 minutes, just because of the number of shops there.

If you play in Aries, can you tell me the "normal" (abnormal for other server) prices for the following items:
-20 SPD thing
-40 SPD thing
shadow pestle

Also, which server you thing is the most over-priced? And which one is the least? Can you list them in order?

-20 Stone ball you should be able to get for 5-10k, and -40 Iron ball probably 30-40k.

lol i seen people in leo sell armors/boats/planes that are about to break for 20k to 50k haha and today i saw this one dude selling those sundays you get from those easter things for 2k each! i was like dude i got 50 of those for free! haha man theyh are soo funny

and stone balls dont cost 5-10k they cost like 1k to 2.5k i seen too many people selling them for 1k and others for 15k they arent worth it just like iron ball im not going to pay 40k for crap like that
