Not at all.

First rule of Alchemy: NOTHING is 100%

Now then, there are various recipes for higher or lower % chance of getting the subtle clothes. If you do a jump5 recipe with a bk3, you can be relatively certain you will obtain the Subtle. Jump6 w/ bk3 is less likely, and depending on your alch lvl, possibly quite risky.

I'd suggest the Sea Shoes + Metal Gown + Steel Thorn Bracers + book3 personally, because the R22 Leather is simply... a lot easier to make than the R23 Leather (comparitively). Of course this is a jump6, so it's possible you will fail and lose the book, Metal Gown and Steel Thorn Bracers (failing back to Sea Shoes).

Again... nothing in alch is 100%. This ... is definitely not 100%.

white gloves? i kept making those on a failed compound -_-
so irritating. as for subtle clothes, why dont you get fly clothes instead?
its a much cheaper comp for just 1 less speed.
