Are we able to fish out a rank 10 item maximum? No higher rank item to fish out? :( Anyone knows? For example, if i level my fishing skill a lot, will i be able to get... hmm.. rank 18 stuff? O_O

Is there any formula to calculate what rank fish we could get at a certain fishing level?

IDK, I have been wondering the same thing....
The only good drops that I get are Energy Stones and Jades/Gems (Amethyst, etc.)
But my Fishing is lvl 9, and I mostly get junk....
Like if my Fishing lvl is higher, then I shouldnt get as much random junk as I would at lvl 1...

Yeah... and my fishing level is 15, not so high tough but i also get up to rank 10 items..

but I think we can of course get higher rank item since we can level fishing to level 30's like all other life skills. and I think fishing level would make a difference lol.

Always use expert fishing rod. My Fishing level is 8, but I have gotten gold from the ocean.

Also depends on where you fish, i think.

Personally i get better stuff from fishing from the sand rather then a cliff if that helps, sounds wierd i know but if i fish by subway i get alu plates white silver etc, if i fish off a cliff i get flowers stones maybe the wave is something to do with it my fishing lvl is 10.

So far as I can tell, there's no difference in what you catch from place to place. I've fished in all kinds of spots, and still manage to get both great stuff like titanium and energy stones to utter rubbish all across the board. I'm not sure that there IS a formula to figure out what you can catch...I have fishing level 13 on on character and level 4 on another, and they still catch good stuff with a luxury rod. I've been wrong before, though...I'd love to know the formula if there is one.

Max rank of items being fished op is 10. Only stackable items can be fished up, and imo, it doesnt matter where you fish, Its just your rank and the rod you are using that matters.

Also, i advise to put some preset items in your inventory, so that you can keep fising these up when your inventory is full.

Good items are: Silicon,Steel,White silvery ore, silvery sand/block, hard alu, lvl 10 rank base items (lvl 10 wood/fur/grass/feather...) and so on.

im planning to write a guide about it, when i find the time.

oh and btw, my fishing lvl is 18.

Youll probably need something like a lvl 24 fishing skill to get realy good items x_X

I have not noticed any difference when fishing in different locations.
Example of my inventory when I'm fishing. I think Adu is right, you can only fish up items rank 10 and below and only if they can stack.

I have a fishing lvl of 15 and i get magnets and got a orange devil spar once but mostly i get fish and metals like gold silver and alum. Hope that helps and i get that from anywhere.

My Wife (Pattie13) has a fishing skill of 12 .44

i fish at sb.. fishing skill lvl 15.. yes u do get rare items XD

i used lux fishing rod, getting like parly high level items: hard alu plates, white rose, snow flowers, northern tiger skins, even mats like steel, iron mat, well most of them doesnt feel much but it saves me time from manufacturing :3 (lazy to make mats )
