putting diamonds or jewels in an item is a good way to enhance ur stuff
if u have crystal furnace and lots of gold to buy diamonds then ur all set
just insert the diamonds in to ur weapon or armor then it will be stronger. depending on the diamond tho or what does it do.

Strong scrolls are for upgrading IM gear. X.x you dont need a crystal furnace to insert diamonds...

you just compound equip with diamond, and tadah, you have an enhanced equip.

Strong scrolls are for upgrading IM gear.

And the best items to upgrade with diamonds are so called 'pure' ones, because then all the upgrade points will go in one stat

Example: you upgrade a jade helmet (27spd) with a red diamond (+14)

you get a jade helmet with 41 spd.

if you would upgrade the goden swan helm (10spd, 35 def) with a red diamond

you would get 17 spd, 42 def.

if you want to upgrade the ears:
1st upgrade= 1 strongscroll needed
10->20 ,spd
2nd upgrade= 2 strongscrolls needed
20-> 30(?) spd (cant recall correctly, it can b 40)
etc.

Adu Emperor Registered: Sep, 2008 Last visit: Fri, 31 Jul 2009 Posts: 564	if you are in a guild who holds the trojan castle, you can try to get strong scrolls from challenging the abbyssal devil. if not: i dnno what the price is for strong scrolls, but at least 150k i guess. so for fully upgraded ears youd have to give 1.5 mil gold. id opt for a jade helmet, green clothes, daffadilly shoes, swift bracers and some diamonds to insert in them. youll have much more spd then with just the upgraded ears imo. ah, and a swift saddle with a high lvl pet to ride gives your speed also a boost! --- edit: the stats of spd items i mentioned (a friend has these) - jade helmet (+26 spd // +14 red devil's spar) - swift bracers (+24 spd // +14 red diamond) - green clothes (+29 spd) - daffadilly shoes (+29 spd // +22 shining diamond) total: +158 spd :D Get your own Evelon Pet Today! if you are in a guild who holds the trojan castle, you can try to get strong scrolls from challenging the abbyssal devil.

ok, i asked around, and the highest upgrade for EQ from IM with strongscrolls is 3, thus

w/o upgrade: 10 SPD
1 upgrade: 20 spd (1 str scrolls)
2upgdrades:40 spd (2 str scrolls)
3 upgrades: ? spd (3 str scrolls)

so : 6 scrolls needed for fully upgraded ears (+60 or +80 spd, donno for sure)

6*150k+200k= 1.1 mil

you can buy a very nice full spd equip for that,and the ears dont add to much more speed then a jade helm with a diamond.
