I have junior alchemy already on my alt, but it's only at lv.3 so I thought I use this char's primary alchemy which is lv.7.. I don't know which one is better primary lv.7 or junior lv.3 Hehehe...

So.. +4 jump is very hard to get with primary alchemy but easier with junior alchemy and even more easier with superior alchemy, am i correct?

I never know about the overpowering second ingredient before >.<
I always thought with primary alchemy, the second ingredient is for the catalyst, so I usually use higher second ingredient for better chance to get big jump..

so my thought was:
beast fur (rank 2) + coconut (rank 6) = higher chance to get white coats (rank 6 leather/flower)

but I guess I was wrong.. I compound almost 2 stacks of beast fur + coconut now, and all I got was straw mushrooms and rarely rank 4 bracers.
never got a white coat >.<

But then I tried again with wolf fur (rank 6) + coconut (rank 6) like you said, it produces many coats (white, green, black, blue) almost 100% chance..

Edit: I compounded 1 stack of wolf fur and got no red coat (rank 10)
so maybe +4 jump is really hard, maybe that's why I always get straw mushrooms when using beast fur.. >.< my primary alchemy level is only 7.

few weeks ago I was trying to make some white coats for my newbie characters, I remember few years ago (2008 I think) I used to make coats from compounding beast fur + coconut (pulp).
but now it seems you cannot get coat anymore from compounding them..
can anyone confirm?

If I have a full water team (4 water chars), what is the best way to get the most exp for them?

if none of you wants to sell him a cheap -80spd then stfu, it's as simple as that!

some people are poor with less money simply because they don't run / can't run multi client with some dual core processor computers all day.
that's why some poor people buy cheap only items, simply because they can't afford the expensive one, or ridiculously overpriced ones from a greedy merchant just because he knows he need that item.

Redman, you are also just like him, he buys low, you sell high. what's the difference? sometimes people needs mirror. you point 1 finger to the other people but the other pointing at yourself.

you can always check the:

[V] Leave (Pet Died 3 times)

and change the 3 times to 1 times

I think book3 30k is not underpriced, but simply our gold becoming valueable more each day, that's why people sell lower desperately to get golds.
it's all because golds are becoming less each day, people buy materials from convenience store that affect the total gold on the server, gold that goes to the convenience store gone to the system permanently (and fast), thus affecting market prices.
that's just my opinion though ^O^

well, I just did a small test and found out that oil + muck won't fail (at least for 14 times)

but somehow with oak woods fails a lot (got 8 straw mushrooms out of 16 attempts)
also fails with watermelon (failure result: steamed buns)

so now I learn that different secondary material affects the failure rate, even it's just for catalyst.

but this is still weird, I used to get so many Naphthas and Heavy oil without failing even once with the same method.. even with organic mucks. never got mushroom or steamed buns before..
and yes I use primary alchemy.

hi, today I compounded 25 soybean oil + 25 oak wood, the result was 25 straw mushroom
before that, I also tried 25 soybean oil + 25 cantaloupe, result was 25 steamed buns..
what's wrong? weeks ago I compounded oil with mucks and I get tars, naphthas, and heavy oils, without failing even once >.<

what is your primary alchemy level?

think about that

adding con is better because it also adds more HP. more HP compensates the dmg you taken for your low wis (mdef). and at high lv I think you don't really need heal anymore it's all about revival (or pizza, hmm yummy). get as many HP as you can and survive longer to deal more dmg to the bosses. once you're dead your water partner will revive you fully at once.

adding agi is also a waste if you're not a Wind or not into PVP.
high level quest bosses have thousands of SPD that makes your some 100 agi (+200 SPD) completely useless.

so for people that aims for battling high level quest bosses, I suggest not adding a single agi (unless for skill requirement). for lv.1 - 100 you can easily outrun normal mobs only wearing full SPD eq such as jade helmet, white gloves, concealment clothes, and long knight boots all with Red Diamonds.

that's my opinion though ^O^

i'm having similar problems, I run a team and some alts (only sit manufucturing), but lately some of the alts disconnect randomly (connection failed), if I log them back in, then another alts got dc. it's driving me mad >.< I'm tired logging in like every 10 minutes >.<

I think there's serious connection problem with their latest wlo client or their server??? >.<

well great news!
I bought another 5 sets, compound them all, and finally got my evening wears!

so today I get 4 evening wears out of 6 attempts.
2 for my chars and 2 for my pets. pheew.. not bad huh ^O^

oh yes this time I use Junior (lv.4) instead of Primary (lv.8)
