What's the meaning/origin of the text in the spell graphic?

It seems to say "THEBELL???????THEBELLOFEDEN????ALLOFEDE ".

"The Bell of Eden?" Huh?

Yes, I know the picture comes from the game... was that the name of one of the early versions? Before Dark Spell?

I wondered about that myself. I even tried a google search and I didn't come up with anything x.x guess we'll never know why they put that...

i can see that the forum is still running
as u all know i havnt been here for a long time
but for the banners....... i lost the file that i used to use for the banners
however it isnt very hard to make a new template for it
when i can find some time al try to make a new one out of 1 of the old ones
all u need is the sizes and take a snap of the original one and hup u go u can make a new one

i havnt been playing the game after my comp didnt wanned to me play the game
couldnt do anything to make my game work again and havnt tried to make it work ever sinds
and in not planing a comback in game either
so.... if u see someone with my name report him or what ever
when i start playing again al announce it on the forum

I've not quite managed to reproduce the logo, yet. There are some squiggly bits at top and bottom of the star that I can't ID.

Wallpaper from the WLO site, with just a small edit to move the butterflies.

I spend quite a few hours over the course of a few days studying and redrawing the logo (and have continued since!), tracing out
a proper 6-pointed star,
a series of rings,
letters for the outer ring (changed the one "A" to "E", stuck the final "N" in),
zodiac symbols for the zodiac wheel that makes up the center (you can just barely see Taurus, Gemini, and Aquarius),
best font I could find, pasted over several times to fatten it up, masked with a gradient, with a white border of 3, 4, and 5 depending on size.

NOTE: the logo as it is NOW is a separate .xcf file, if anyone wants it

I tried different modes for the logo layer, Settled on "Burn," and left it relatively large. Was happy with the effect looking like the hearts/sparkles were in front of the logo.

Here's another. Just about got the logo as good as I can get it.

(Yes, I know about the "dark spell" logo on the wlo site, but I prefer being able to work with bits of it.)

Well we have a new version coming out soon so thought I would try making a few new banners.

I like the 2nd Pic only that there is J'darc and not Kurogane Juzo ^^

I'll give it another go tonight once I get my log in for the chinese wl working and also download the japanese wl (not sure which one I want to try). Once I get that done I'll try pulling J'darc from her pic and post her on Kurogane's background instead. It might be a little difficult but I'll give it my best shot ^^

Well, i tried making one too... with venus XD (note that i don't know the required dimensions of the banners, so just went after my instincts)

i think they can expand it..

Hey everyone I uploaded some banners so as you search through the site you will notice that your banner will change from time to time. If you go here http://wlodb.com/headers you can see all of the banners that have been uploaded and if you click on them you can see a description (if any) that was entered when the banner was uploaded. In the upper right hand corner below your log in and log out button there is a place where you can vote for a banner.

If you like it give it a + vote and if you don't like it give it a - vote. If a banner gets to many negative votes I'll remove it.

Unfortunately the banner voting system is a little flawed. It doesn't keep track if you voted before so you can vote as many times as you want.

I'm not sure if you want to rely on that system yet until I get it logging which user voted. Also, I was testing using chrome and it looks like it doesn't update immediately like it is supposed to.

btw, I added a Headers button back to the menu under Community.

when you click on 'Headers' under Community it goes to the file page instead of the header one.

That sucks about the voting. Well until it gets fixed I guess the votes won't count as much but people can still vote and I'll trust that they will only vote 1 time per banner.
