If you want to be a tanker, you'll need more than 2.5k HP in my opinion (my water seer have that much HP, it's an average amount). As for the pet, it depends on what you want it for. I'd use Shasha if I needed extra help sealing and I'd use Xaolan for her Stone Wall skill.

Most people use a wind pet to compliment the water element. Hayate is good for attacking, Shizune for sealing, and Qyala for sealing. Out of the three I listed I would recommend Hayate because she is much stronger than Shizune. I'm training both Shizune and Hayate on my water seer.

In my opinion a seer's job IS to seal and my seer does hit a lot xD.

For questing and 15 round, NT, I use rb elin and rb kanako as 'refeed pets'.

But also have a rb roca (which is str con build) proably to use in pk xD

btw my fire hits 2.8kish using bloodsuck xD, but at 180 I would say close to 3k hp is a nice build.

Why you want to use Xaolan with a tanker? xD

I guess Shasha is more useful because she can help you with your sealing. (:

I never bothered with pets like Shizune or Qlaya or Shasha. They seem ok in pk.. but for quest, their HP seems too low to be really useful. I don't wanna spend entire quest fight to keep reviving a pet who has such low HP.

I use Kanako with my Water Priest tank. My Kanako has 145 CON at lvl 99rb, so she is great as a feeder in quests/15rs etc.

i agree with ken, i prefer pets that can kill.
For my tanker water seer i have elin rb for her. :)
