So yea, the images on this page were getting KINDA long, so instead I'll frequently upload the whole skin folder onto mega upload for your downloading pleasure, also i will keep an update list in this post as well as the following preview for new users.

Here is a simple how to guide, nothing fancy, and without photo shop a lot of what I am doing is not possible, but still this is a beginners guide, and anyone familiar with photo shop will be able to take it a step farther without any help.

First Off :

Now what comes next is kinda difficult to explain but I'll give it a shot, The wonderland game itself, uses pictures that layer on top of one another quite often, and thus it is important to know which picture layers over another, however i can't list every single one, its best to use common sense as well as experimentation to find out, but a good example is the Rebirth Symbols that appear on your menus after rebirth, it is simply a picture that overlaps your menu, thus changing the menu file does not affect the Rb file.

This is your White folder, It contains your bigger menus like base menus the rb pics text boxes, the really big stuff, editing the colors here won't screw much up. :

The big exception to this rule is when you see this color :

That should basically cover the whole White folder recolors, as there is not much to explain there, however i recommend doing your recolor pixel by pixel, it produces much better results than batching it together.

Now we'll look at the Default Folder, This folder is slightly more complicated, you'll see files like 1x1Grid, and 1x1Grid_2 the grid files are your selection files as in when you hover over something with your mouse, or if you have something for sale on a shelf, the bigger the grid the bigger the item if the file has plan ?x?Grid as its name then it is just the color that would display if you hovered over it, if it has ?x?grid_2 as its name it is what the color would be if it was say, in use or on a shelf. The transparency Rule applys a lot here, seriously do not mess with the green.

It's lovely but I prefer using what IGG already has. I don't like changing skins and such. I have seen others on the official WLO forum also make skins and such for WLO. Even change how the textbox looks ingame. I guess it is just personal choice ^^ Good luck with your project

quick question. The numbers and stuff that show up for your stats and also how many of each item you have appear in black. With custom menu that you have would the numbers appear easily? (I can't try it since I'm not currently at home x.x)

You can't really change the number colors as they are colored by a font that is in a file somewhere, so my solution to that was to put grey boxes in the spots where there are black numbers or text. Ingame i can see my numbers/stats/item amounts great check it out.

Preview :

If you do make boxes to display the colors like i did, i recommend 1 pixel space from the top, bottom, and sides of the number, so its not scrunched together.

Well you see, mine is a two person effort when we're bored xD, so yours will probably progress much quicker, and it already looks quite nice, so you'll do fine, as i said earlier in my messy guide, Some pics overlap others so you have to be careful, feel free to PM me if your not sure as well, I'd be happy to help.

TY Sarin =P and yeah I had some trouble with the overlapping pics but it's not too hard to fix once you get the hang of what your doing haha.

btw this is another cool little thing you can do for the loading screen:

All you need to do is get a picture that's 800 x 600 like this one for example: (you can find this picture on google images)and save it to your desk top (or wherever you like)
Then you need to find the folder that WLO is saved in.
Do this by right clicking your short cut of the game and clicking on properties:
Then you need to click "Open File Location" as seen in the image below:

(Note: If you use Windows XP it wont say "Open File Location" but it's in the same place)

Now you should be in the Wonderland Online folder
Open up the folder named "pic" and in there you'll find a file called "Anim_load0" (you may want to make a copy of this file in case you want to switch back)

Finally you need to get your first picture again (that's sized 800x600)
Open it up in paint, save it as a bitmap file (.bmp) and rename it to "Anim_load0" and then replace the Anim_load0 with the picture you just renamed and then you're all set ^^ open up WLO and you'll see your picture on the loading screen

Nice guide. I could have simplified things by adjusting the hue like that as well, after all my original purpose for the recolor was to eliminate the blinding menu colors, and that irritating gold wire that was around the menus, portraits, and etc. But I ended up having fun with it and this is the result xD.

oh and a big warning for the overlapping pics you might want to know about, is the area where it displays gold, it and the amity thing for pets in the menu is linked so if you don't recolor it properly it tends to look bad. just tweak with it here and there though you'll get it, that was the hardest part for me so far.

Rumisiel,Love your idea, just was wondering , u can do taht with different colours right? cause u made all so dark, its hard to see some items xD
also, the numbers of the items is black, and u make the box where number is black too, i think u should make it brighter.

Yea, I can use different colors, I used an ash black with this one, and some random shade of purple and grey.

Lol i suppose that's what i get for saving everything as a .png
