Um..hai peoples!
I'm concerned about Aqua's prices. I saw a bathtub that was 2k. And I mean Aqua has only been around for, what 2 days? And it's already op'ed. So I'm thinking about making a list for common items, but I need some help. Please post your ideas here, or pm/whisper my char, Jasmosis on Aqua about it..
Thanks! :D

New server prices are high because there is no established server economy yet.

There are price suggestion lists around somewhere.

Okay, that's the one thing I don't get..
Why would prices be high if it's a new server? If it's a new server, then we don't have much gold, so it's harder for us to buy stuff, and then the sellers won't get any gold for their hard work...
So um..can you explain that for me please?

its the supply and demand rule. lots and lots of demanders and very few suppliers. lets say there is 5000 ppl lookin for a jalor and only 20 ppl can make it; the price is gonna be outrageous.

Yes.

Add to that that the people most likely to move to a new server are those who haven't been playing long. They may not know that things that are rare in North/South Islands are common elsewhere.

Roses may be in high demand for Parterre, and impossible to find, but they're easily available via recycle cycling or killing flowers in Maya. Are they worth 2, 20, 200, or 2000 g?

It's only outrageous if those 5000 people have outrageous amounts of money.

But I guess 1k is already pretty crazy in a new server.
