Good thing I am using Yahoo and G-Mail, and I don't use Hotmail that often nowadays. And it's pretty obvious to tell who's cheating who, if you know what to look for.. ^^

One of my guildmate experienced this new trick a few days ago. Thanks god, he asked me if it can be a real GM, so we just deflected a hack possibility.

MSN really had to work on classifying what's a qualified spam from the regular spam mails.

And besides, no English OL games distributors will ever ask about your personal account info., not even Runescape Online.

Sheesh, that makes me think, how come this guy/gal ever bypassed the system and used the igg.com e-mail address without being detected. Smells like intensive study on hacking...

Probably as you said Homer, the only difference in email address is the "." after the adress x.x if you are not attent enough.. you can be tricked x.x It's not a starter hacker's job..

IF that's the case, he did a very good cracker jack job. Maybe I should be more cautious opening my Hotmail now from now on....

Bypassing the system that you mean isn't hard.
The system doesn't wait for a confirm mail from the igg.com or wligg.com domain, just gives you that mail and to make that mail verified you need confirmation from the actual domain
