well i have been compounding a few things but never got some exp or any thing like that i know a little about compounding but nothing about alchemy
could it be:compounding 2 weapons or something?

alchemy is basically just how high your compounding skill level is, but you have to have the skill from welling village. check it under your life stats and watch it go up when you do a successful compound. the higher the level the better results you will get from compounding. |

Click this. Look for the Quest "Legendary Weapon". The reward for that quest is the Primary Alchemy skill  |
