for Xaolan, I would recommend one of those Sp+400 armlets, because normally she doesnt have enough sp to stonewall the whole burst round

Roca does not have an assist skill. An Assist skill that is non-recovery is required for GS training. She is not burstable.

elin is non busrtable. :\ you need assit skill for pet to be burstable. yes its possible to use her as a cow (or any other pet without assit) and get her lvls that way. but it'll be slow and you won't get over 200-400exp non and double exp day. i've known people to get their roca up to 50 and their cow up to 100 doing this putting a weight on the cows (and pets). but after a while you need to move up to a higher lvl area to get more exp again it'll still just be 200-400 and slooooowwwwww... will take you a few months to a year to get any progress. so it's faster to train pet with you and combo at any lvl area or training island.
Picklessssssssssssssssssssss!~

I know this is an old post, but what I say is very useful and better than the one you posted (I tested it out). For pets like xao, sam, vicky, magellan, set the assist skill in second round set on the pet, it is very effective when bursting and comes in handy when bursting. I also wanted to point out that if you happen to have burst slaves bursting with a person who trains a pet like that, it's best to be cautious because burst slaves typically have all str or all int and unless they have a fork or any other +hp item, vicky or sam or xao or magellan might have a chance to set their assist skill on that character. It's ideal to set the skill cast based on the party's hp. I was originally going to add this information in the very first topic I created, but due to the negative comments.....and the fact that I couldn't find a way to upload pictures, I gave up on that topic. I'm such a troll Me + Piano Take them out with Love. One by one.
