How To Get Junior Alchemy Skill (Alchemy Class 2)
With the release of version 3 comes a higher class of alchemy skill to assist with making all those new equips.

Here is how you get it:

Materials needed:
5 Dragon Teeth
2 Chameleon Tongues
1 Ant antenna

The dragon teeth and chameleon tongues can be made by compounding Wolf Teeth, or drops in Osyla. The ant antenna are easy to get in the cave behind the troll on north island.

Next, you need to travel to Polo island, go in the hut, and give the witch the items. And there you go! To use the new compounding skill, just check the box on the compounding menu (see pictures below). Enjoy all the new compounding

Amen to that, I killed those 2 spawning chameleons for almost 16 hours, and not a single chameleon tongue.

I went to Virgo1 and after asking for it for about 3 hours I found 2 persons who each had one and were willing to sell it.

Anyways, I guess you have more chance finding a chameleon tongue while fishing, then when you kill those chameleons on Osly :p

compound dinosaur teeth together, and you can get chameleon tongues. (not to say that's all you can get)

Well in my case I got 20 chameleon tongues just by sitting there at the spawn point( 2 chameleon) I think the rate of getting them is like the rate of getting ordinary wood from bettles.

i reach many chameleon tongue, but cause i don't think they're useful, i compound all... :'(
You can get also compound chameleon skin (less rare) with chameleon skin

The best method i have found for getting chameleon tongue is to use the waste products of the Wolf Teeth + Wolf Teeth synthesis. You will get rattlesnake tail and scorpion thorn a lot, compounding the tail then the thorn gives the chameleon tongues at a decent rate (as does compounding any other waste items lvl 4 - lvl 6 from the Wolf Teeth Method).

Dinos drop Dragon tooth but very rarely.

compound wolf teeth. Just like it is said in the postall the way at the top. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

this is what i understand from most people, i may be still be wrong so anyone correct me if i say something wrong

Primary
=======
uses the first material as base material, hence the base of result depend on first material

eg=> if wood(rank 10) + grass rank(11) = wood
eg1=> wolf braces(titanium) + wolf tooth(canine) = defensive armour (titanium)

Junior
=====
uses the highest rank material as base material,hence result depend on the highest ranked material

eg=> if wood(rank 10) + grass rank(11) = grass
eg1=> wolf braces(titanium) + wolf tooth(canine) = a canine based material like a bone, or a tooth or claw(not weapon claw)

actually is needs to be "highest total ranked material"

eg => sea armour(18) + wolf tooth(25) = bone based item(junior) since wolf tooth rank higher

but sea armour(18) + wolf tooth(25) + sea armour(18) = Skeleton Steel Sword

because "highest total ranked material" here = 18 +18 = 36 total rank steel
so result is steel based instead of bone based

sorry if this is little confusing, this is aimed for compounders

i make normally defensive armor with junior skill... don't think it's the really difference... but i can't give a answer... o.O

i wonder y it works for u, many people said it works like i as i said above and i tested it
i even remember rawer said before not to use junior alchemy when compounding def arm using that method(wolf braces + wolf tooth method)

I got the chameleon tongues from compounding bee spine with rank 2 or 3 stuff (and the outcomings as well).

about dragon tooths...for my own experience...
i can only get it fighting the dino in 3rd cave...
if fighting the raptor near the beach,i cant get any dragon tooth...
only dinosaur tooth...
so be careful of spot XD

can some 1 help me get the items need to get the skill
