Here is the current todo list (in no specific order for now):

-make manufacture view collapsible/expandable (complete)
-give users option to select their server when registering
-let users create their own characters
-keep track of which users created/edited items, etc... (complete)
-add field to show if monster can be caught
-seperate field for item prices (complete)
-maps for navigating by boat (complete)
-locations/maps for gathering items (complete)
-emoticons
-private messaging
-themes

I'll add more later, so keep your posts coming.

quests step by step with photo's would also by a nice one
cause some people are to lazy to find it them selves

in the maps for navigating by boat section, do you mean a guide on travelling around the world by boats? Or do you mean just the voyage map?

Try travelling to Japan by 1 boat, it is possible, and it is really useful.

what kind of images it should be uploaded? only image of item, or with full information about it?

just the image of the item is fine, just make sure to name it. once i get a few in there i'll go and update the images.

I've added collecting locations for all items on IGG's site. I posted an updated at http://wlodb.com/articles/4. Check it out.

It would be nice to have "create new compound" in "items". Also it would be useful to add "edit spot" in "collections" - lists there are not complete... (for example, at Oslya you can get Black Clay in place with Crude oil)

yea, i need to rework some of the menus. i'm going to be working on some javascript dropdown menus that will hopefully fix the problem.

at the moment i don't want to let every have access to collections. right now i know they match IGG's site and opening may give people access to put wrong information in there.

one of my next things i want to do is give a handful of people certain access so they can do things like edit monsters, collections, etc..

the only problem I have is that there is no search on the collections however I understand things take time and it is great to have it here. Now I don't need two of my other bookmarks lol

yea i wanted to get it up while that first part was done. how do you think i should do the searching? it will link in the item details screen though if something matches. so...if you click on coconut it will show you all gatering location.

i think i'm going to make a locations link where you can see information about an area.

I think there should be more monsters info, or at least tell us what monsters drop, like yellow dragonfly drops harl grass, sky dragonfly drops cotton (though rarely, they do).

If you just copy everything from the official site, then there is not be much point coming to this one then, is there?

yea like i mentioned when i get some more permissions on the site i'll have a group of people who can update that stuff as well.

I think if you can link everything to the items in the DB that would be better. Like add more search options to the items. It would require a bit of work and once you get the system in I will help you edit all the items. But it seems like that would be the easiest way.

hmm that's a good idea. can you think of how it should look? maybe something like a dropdown with what you want to search all under the items screen.

Let me make it clearer. Pet's guide as in 'human pets guide'
All info of the human pets, & pictures of them shown on that page.
A whole list of human pets + recommended collecting level.
Even their deathquests & instructions.
The Pets guide(ex. kanako guide) could also be moved over there...

Could it be done? Plz?

Scott, I'm really thinking this need to be done:

After some one registers for an account, they should have to read forum rules and regulations before they can make a new thread or even post. Maybe even have to pass some sort of basic test on it. Day after day I see people asking questions before searching, about compounds, items, quests, anything at all. It's not a world-ending problem, but as a site gets bigger, the problem become bigger and starts hogging memory. Even if there's a lot of it to go around, a forum with this sort of requirement would be great. Or even just a reminder at the new thread screen might help a bit.
I'm not even the one giving out links to such people most of the time and it still annoys me <.< Takes up space on the home page threads too.
*Note: The test could probably be flash based. If I dust off my action scripting books I'd be willing to start working on one in Flash CS3.
