I have been researching into it and to the best of my knowledge there is no way to get the source code for the game yet. However you can bet once I find it I will be hosting a private server. Scorpio 2

i'll clear some things up for you here...
flood, that applies only to the international version, though other versions will have similar rules enforced by country they reside in in any case, you'll find running a pc as a server is bandwidth consuming and hence usually in your isp's conditions of what you cannot do, but you'd be better off cloning wonderland than using its sourcecode, less bugs, properly written interface and no need for idiotic level system like wl enploys and you could have it run in 3d.. and believe it or not requiring near same cpu power... |

I know the copyright laws for where I live very well and would not jeopardize myself in such a manner. From what I understand and have discussed with others it would be (assuming I can have free and legal access to the source code) completely legal for me to run and play the game on my own private server inviting those I would like under a few cercumstances. 1. I can never profit off of the game. Since the original Source Code is not mine I could not legally even have the IM. Instead I would code in an extra shop likely on hawaii where you could 'purchase' IM points with the in game currency. 2. I could not advertise on any of the official websites or servers. This could be seen as taking potential 'money' from the people slowly but surely translating/writing the game. 3. All trademark symbols would have to remain intact. Basically I can't take off the WLO symbols and replace them with my own. Under those and perhaps a few more minor conditions it would be within legal boundaries to host a private server. Again though. That is only if I can legally obtain a copy of the source code or permission from the creator/owner to run a server without the source code (basically note having the source code would give me GM powers but not god-like powers to alter in game effects). EDIT: Also I never said I would call it my own. I simply said I would be hosting a server. Scorpio 2

I really wish there is a private server, buying IM is a real pain now, it's so expensive and I don't think I'll buy it anymore. Please host a server once you find the source code PLS. Give me all of your IM and money or die =3 SERVER LEO...

There is the 'source code'. The server is basically the program (with associated files) that runs which receives & sends the data to the clients.
I've run a private server of another game before and been developer on another. Mercury (Leo) |

wow this is old. anyway it's not really worth it. let's say the server is cool. it has new events, or the same events several times a week. maybe 15 rounds final reward is a 25% cap instead of 15%. you get real good, even get to 100+ rb and some rare stuff, in a short time... IGG will find out and shut it down, just as they did with the "biggest" Tales of Pirates servers. then all the work you put there will be lost. and when you consider going back to the original server, you wont want to work 10 times as much to get back where you were at the private server. |

Private servers are generally run using emulator programs. Programs written to do the job of the server, by people other than the original game creators.
Don't like it when I KS?
