So I've kinda grown out of wonderland and I sometimes get back on to have a little fun exploring what use to be the game on my computer I had active 24/7 for an entire year back in high school. (god knows how much grinding we needed in this game)

I decided to look back at all the moments that really made me enjoy wonderland so much that it made me want to play it more and more. So I hope for the old players like me who played back in the glory days, this will be a great walk down memory lane and a way to share our love with Wonderland Online.

For me,

When I first played wlo, I didn't learn about grinding until 3 months into the game. As a result, I "MANUALLY" grinded my character to lv 18, then used the remote to grind my fire character at the chicken farm til I hit lv 32 and finally learned Hagendis Attack. That for me was one of the best moments because I felt a sense of great achievement after grinding my character for so long and finally complete one part of my skill tree for the most powerful skill there. I immediately went to kill all sorts of things with the skill, even taking on the lv80 giant corpse flower at south island, who by the way killed me so many times my favorite bronze halberd broke and made me cry so much cuz that was the first strong attack weapon I ever got.

Another best moment was my first lv 100 and reborn character. I was sooooo excited after bursting for the first time and finally got my water character to 100 that I rushed over to sb and starting begging everyone for help on the rebirth quest. (Sadly for me this was also one of my worst days on wlo because this was the first time I got royally scammed out of my snow ears and 3m g which back then was considered A LOT) But awesomely for me, after someone heard what had happened to me, they offered to help me for completely free and got me my water wit. To this day that character still remains my favorite in terms of personal importance.

If we're talking about favorite overall however, its my Flamebrag character. He was the first character I had with a pet that was more worth putting into battles than my actual characters. I gave him a Niss (Alice) that currently sits at rebirth lv 90 and has 630 int, 340 con, 220 wis, and has a +44 polar ultima with sea dimaond. she has over 4k matk and can one-shot any target while hf'ed on floor 14 of the 20 round challenge (martians). she has over close to 6k hp and is my most proud achievement here on wlo. The rush I felt when I finally got her up to this point made me so happy and I enjoyed wlo so much because of it. I was finally able to do rebirth quest for myself in only 1 hour. less if she crits most of the time.

Definitely a great walk down memory lane... (TvT) tears of joy

What about everyone else?

Had a lot of fun memories in the game like those early days when there is no bursting yet. When people would be fighting over training spots, when Guilds are really competitive and Guild Wars (or i think that's name) was very exciting and actually meant something. I know some people here in this forum were part of my friends in leo server like Metatron and taisan.

I miss the days when me and my guild members would go to holy village and see/compare our results from training and would have a friendly pk lol and of course the friendship and loyalty we had.

Proudest moment in my game experience was when I moved to Taurus (Left Leo Server) and created my own bursting team by myself. Meaning I leveled them up myself and not joining a team for my alts or my main. Then they turned out to be good in quests and started helping and sometimes selling quests like Fred quest, Crit weapon in Egypt and pet death quests.

Now the wlo experience is less.. exciting. Dupe items, hacked stuff and so on are spread in the game and honestly, in my opinion bursting broke the game cause now people just breeze through the levels unlike way before when you actually grinded for your character and can show off what you did.

I remember how hard it was to travel from north island to oslya in 1 boat ride and how I cried when Roca's father died. It was really fun having friends online and learning things from the other side of the world too.

Thanks for sharing your wlo experience, it is nice to see that there are other people out there like myself, I thought maybe I was over reacting by getting attached to the game. Well as for me, I started to play the game after a few of my cousins insisted I tried it out, I though the characters were cute but it looked kind of stupid and didn't see why they would waste all that time on the computer, one of my cousin's would even fall asleep on the computer because she wouldn't want to leave the game. Anyways..I made my account,downloaded game for almost 6 hours since back then I had a old pc, and finally I created my first ever character in Aries and I didn't know what branches were and all of that so I tried go to gemini and saw my character wouldn't appear so I figured I could make another so I made a character for every server at that time. I didn't really do much leveling up, mostly talked to people, the first people I talked to was when I was roaming trought north island when into cave and clicked on troll and got my ass whooped, there were others there who were in same trouble so one of them said why don't we team up to pass the troll and we did and we barely made it, but it felt good!Every time I make a new character I remember about how easy is now and how back then everything just seemed like a hurdle, back then I struggled to pass a troll, and now I can do ds in about 30min more or less. Back to the story, unfortunatelly I found out that my cousins were all in diferent servers so we didn't get to play together which sucked, but then a new server came out [Leo] and I said what if we all make a character there so we can play together, and we did, I made my character there and one time I accidently oppened another wlo window and figured I could run more than one application at a time, trilled by this, I started making bunch of accounts and created many characters, I was so exited and put a lot of thought into their names and such and well back then I didn't really quite grasp the skills concept but I looked at the skill trees and saw that there was one based on str one on int and one on wis, and there were 4 elements so I I made a char to expertise on each haha yeah I know lame huh...but I was so proud of myself and back then most people still only had 1 char or 2 and a few a max of 4, but I had all of this characters!! Well then I would see all the shops in starters beach and I just wanted to buy many things but I only had about 8g and most things costed about 20k or so which to me was A LOT and I didn't quite now how to make money then I heard some people would afk at caves to make money but I tried and didn't make much so I got discouraged then one time I was exploring south island and went into beatle den and saw I got fruit and got good exp so I put some characters to train there and noticed that I made pretty good money selling them so I put all 12 characters on afk and finally I could afford a evening wear! I was so happy. Well long story short my pc broke so I stopped playing for a while then got a new one and when I went back most people were 100+ and there was all this talk about bursting but nobody wanted to burst with me because I had no ds and my highest lvl at that point was 30something..well I would just trained in south island I trained my fire until about lvl 90/petless then I left game again, and when I came back discovered when of my cousin's had leveled my character until 184 and I was really greatful to her, now he was already reborn, but I couldn't train him by himself I didn't have enough hp and sp food for him, and if I joined other people's teams they would complain about how I was stealing exp and stuff so I did some asking around and met some nice people and one of them taught me how to burst for every element, the only problem was I had no weights so some of my friends in game gave me weights,I was so happy, then one of my cousin's let me use her 120+rb fire to burst, she said to use her because that way people would be more eager to join my teeam, and it was true! so fast forwarding I leveled some of my characters, mostly waters because is my favorite element and was one of the easiest ones to level back then. While bursting I met some pretty good people, then I made it into one(if not the most) of the most prestigious guilds in leo, It was pretty cool walking around with a cool guild badge, only bad thing was people would add me thinking I would get them into the guild -_-..but the height of my wl experience wasn't until instances came along, I met some of the greatest people there, I had 3 really good friends in the game but one by one they started leaving, one had college, and one said the game was getting to into her life, and the other started dating some guy in the game that stole from me so we drifted apart..and that is when my wlo life was coming to a close then one time I was doing instances and some girl joined when I was about to put my last character in so instance started and I only had 3 characters in, and she kept asking for a team so I had to let her in, and we became great friends, like my previous friends, I could go on talking to her for hours but then eventually she also had to leave...and now whenever I log on game, only people that talk to me is to ask me for free stuff or to help them with quest or if I can sell them a character *sigh* it's kind of sad..then just some days ago I found out that some person had bought the main character of one of my dearest friends that had quit about 2-3 years ago and as I looked trought my friendlist I saw there was one spot empty now, it used to be full, but now I have no friends in wlo, if it wasn't for the love I have for my characters I would have left already, and sadly no one would notice.
