Who is better for a earth mage?

I would personally go with kanako because she has more base stats than Niss (if I'm correct) and niss is decent but full potential is only reached if you feed her. Plus being able to heal yourself is much nicer than magic recovery and AOE based attacks only

But! You can also look at it at a different angle: earths use more sp than any other class and don't have any AOE attacks, so... Niss. But again you have low base stats
