why are people allowed to create recipes for an item that is known to be impossible to make, (making it seem like it can be made) then some unfortunate people try and fail.

it's kind of sad to hear a friend doesn't know this information trades IM for books expecting to be able to make it cause there are recipes :\

that staff/wand should have all information on it deleted and replaced with something saying it can't be made (as of yet because it's base is unknown) and locked until someone can prove they have made it.

i know it says "Base yet to be known" but that hasn't stopped anyone from setting it, and people making fake recipes.

Nothing on the database is 100%!
And it never will be. this is a fan made database and it is your own risk if you try to compound something

I am currently the only active admin besides a couple of them popping up and I don't know anything about compounding so there is no way to know if something is right/wrong/50% right/50% wrong/etc so I can't just "mark" compounds off when I know nothing about it

Even if I lock it I can't stop people from making recipes with/for it.

tldr: if you know about compounding you can post here

I'm going to use the RDG as an example, if you search "red dragon gown" there are soooooooo many that are unconfirmed and even the ones that are confirmed are not 10000000000% and We(wlodb as a whole) need help confirming and "fixing" the database

The Spiritseal Staff itself has some sort of weird set bases in the database, which no one actually knows. It doesn't show up on Melone either, accordingly.

is the point i was making, the Spirit seal staff's base are completely unknown right now.

so everything on that page/info about it is a lie. people just threw together "recipes" trying to closely match the false base that someone set

which is why i posted this, NOT because of failure/risky recipes, but simply because it IS 100% impossible to make

ps. if you don't know anything about alchemy(or even care about the true nature of this post). that makes talking down to me like you did, extremely cruel/rude and not even the slightest professional.

as this post IS to help the database, to remove false information, regardless of what YOU think.

you probably looked at "recruit 1 post new account date" and thought "ugh a noob whining about something he knows nothing about." and din't even take anything i posted seriously

is to everyone.. Not jusst you, there has been topics where others state "OH THIS IS WRONG!" then never come back. It's annoying when you can look through my posts and see that I've asked and asked fellow wlodb members to help repeatedly.

The last part is about the rudest I got, the rest is general tone.

Removing bases and recipes now, I'll continue to keep an eye on it until proof is provided.

hmm..i'm compounder..so i know what the best formula..but yet spiritseal staff is yet unknown formula..even if i make 1 already..mybe i wont post it here, so i'm the only 1 have that staff in wlo.. XD..
