Hi guys I am wondering if you can help me making bookless compounds? I have level 14 superior alchemy but I find it useless when I don't even know what to compound (without books) I had successfully (thank god) made WDA and Feather Suit but what else could I make? Any high level EQs in there?
I am cr-p at compounding so please help me and do it with Step by Step And before I posted here I had research an amount to if there's any bookless EQs and made them but if you could help me it would be so great :)
if you truly wish to make good high level eqs, its going to take atleast 1 or 2 books no matter what. WLO just hasn't put in the "linking" eqs that can lead to a high level equip. But if you want to you can stick to eqs that are lvl 66 and lower because those tend to have the "linking" eqs that can lead to making one. Another really easy and super useful eq that everyone would want is Gold-rip Bracers:
Gold-rip Bracers = Golden Hatchet + Beast Cuffs
Golden Hatchet = Goldgleam Helm + Steel Bracers
Goldgleam Helm = Sky Crown + Steel Bracers (Sometimes you can get lucky and it goes straight to Golden Hatchet)
Beast Cuffs (75%) = Steel Thorn Bracers + Hero's Helmet (This one is only available if you have airship steer)
Hero's Helmet = Skull Long Spear/Perfect Long Spear + Cloud Helmet
Beast Cuffs (25%) = Steel Thorn Bracers + Knight's Helmet (This one is more accessible but the success rate is low)
Obsidian Boots= Sea Armor+ Copper Crest (+2 jump, but the success rate is only so-so!). If you get Black Bracers from this compound, compound the Black Bracers with Copper Crest til you get Obsidian Boots!
Hero's Helmet= Skeleton Iron Sword+ Light Bracers (+3 jump)
Titanium Sword= Refined Titanium+ Fine Log (+4 jump)
Emerald Necklace= Black Jade+ Black Jade (-1 jump)
Bloody War Boots= Refined Hematite+ Fine Grass+ Refined Titanium (+2 jump)
Swift Bracers= Sky Boots+ Blue Boots (+3 jump, but it has a relatively low success rate!). You can use this item to substitute Leaf Boots in the Grass Headwear formula. You may get lower ranked items. If you get a Wave Clothes (-1 jump), simply compound it with Gold Helmet to get a Sky Boots with relatively high success rate!
Gold Helmet= Refined Gold+ Iron Net Shoes+ Fine Crystal (+3 jump)
Gennan Suit= Ninja Suit-2+ Metal Gown (+4 jump). Take note note that you'll get quite a number of items from this compound. If you get Fly Clothes or Light Gown, then the rank jump in the Formal Gloves formula will still be +2 jump, if you get Demon Suit or Dark Clothes, then the rank jump becomes +3 jump, if you get Koraka Suit, then the rank jump is +4 jump.
Ninja Suit-2= Thorn Suit+ Heart Bracers (+3 jump)
Thorn Bracers= Fine Nylon+ Fine Log (+2 jump)
Cool Boots= Feather Boots+ Beast Cuffs (+3 jump, but its success rate is only so-so!). If you get Thief Gloves, compound it with Beast Cuffs until you get the Cool Boots.
War Demon Armor= Purple Star Hat+ White Loops+ Steel Armor (+3 jump)
Purple Star Hat= Demon Suit+ Rainy Doll+ Green Boots (+3 jump). Remember what I said at the Gennan Suit formula? Among the list of items listed there, feel free to use any of them to substitute the Demon Suit EXCEPT the Koraka Suit, because that suit's rank is too low.
Peace Wand= Fire Sword+ Blue War Bracers (-1 jump) (instance items only formula)
(Alternate Method) Peace Wand= Evening Wear+ Perfect Headscarf (+3 jump). This formula is useful if you get the Fire Sword but you have no luck getting Blue War Bracers.
Evening Wear= Fire Sword+ Ring of the Lord (-5 jump). You can use Ring of King too. This formula uses instance items and (obviously) is bookless. If you choose not to use any instance EQs, you CAN, but you'll need books. The only fomula that exists on wlodb.com that you can use to make Evening Wear wihtout using instance EQs and (theoretically) without using books. is {Evening Wear= Enclosed Crystal+ Black Jade}. However it appears that there is no way to obtain the Enclosed Crystal other than manufacturing them via the Crystal Furnace. Either way, you're better off making them using instance EQs (and no books) or using books (and no instance EQs).
Perfect Headscarf= Golden Hatchet+ Rainy Doll+ Green Boots (+2 jump)
New note: Woops. Actually I have an even simpler solution when you want to make a Peace Wand but you only have a Fire Sword.
This negates the need to do extra work by compounding the Fire Sword with some other item that is lower ranked to get Evening Wear and then compounding it with Perfect Headscarf. In fact, this newly added formula in the post has a higher suceess rate than the one that I've posted earlier, so you can use this one instead.

Oh my gosh you rwo thank you sooo sooo much I am going to use all of these resources that you've given me this is very useful I mean I do use wlodb compound but i dont even know which is which to use a lot of suggestion which is great but my understand of compounding is very bad XD i dont how to explain it soo thank you so much!
My success rate in compounding is very super low o.o was trying to make RDG and the thing I've only made so far is White Loops and the rest I've wasted a stack of Fine Golden Rose and Refined Gold making special shoes earlier XD 99% fail rate oh well I am still going to try
trust me dopel...you just have to be patient when it comes to compounding without books. Its kinda like taking a short-cut with books but doing it too much would take the fun out of compounding, but then again, doing it step by step making eqs after eqs to make the eq that makes the bigger eqs(don't know if you can understand that) is something that just gets boring and frustrating after a while. In the end though, if you just stick to compounding for a bit and memorize the most basic compounds, you'll be fine.
hai hai i will do my best and not give up although gold problems will soon come XD if i fail again and again i bought 5m hawaii today hoping to sell rdg to get it back with profit but i can see how compounders spent millions on there compounds so i will be patient too
Special Shoes can be pretty hard to get (curse the Apprentice Hats). And even though the formula that I provides for you for RDG is bookless, it certainly isn't the easiest (requires a lot of work+ Blue Net Shoes is an ass to get) formula around, and honestly I'll rather stick to using a book 3/4 for the RDG formula XD.
P.S. Just saying, but if you don't want to buy Refined Gold but you need an alternative for Golden Qi Pao, you can always use Wizard Gloves, although its success rate is even lower than Golden Qi Pao. I'll explain why shortly. Anyways the formula is:
Wizard Gloves= Fine Golden Rose+ Magic Crystal Powder
Unlike the Golden Qi Pao formula, when you can get a plentiful harvest of Straw Mushrooms on bad days, you are less likely to get mushrooms using this formula (not to say that you WON'T. I got it once before), but if you bother scouting around wlodb compounds, you'd notice that this formula is the same formula for Magic Gloves (the rank 20 one), Heart Bracers and Giant Demob Gloves. So even if you don't get that many mushrooms, you'll get plentiful of the Magic Gloves and Heart Bracers. I don't use Wizard Gloves to substitute Golden Qi Pao in any situation that requires a rank 21 flower item, but they can come in handy when you run out of Refined Gold and have plentiful of Magic Crystal Powder at your disposal. If you tend to get anything other than the Wizard Gloves, simply compound the item that you get with Magic Crystal Powder until you get Wizard Gloves. Now you see why I don't really like using the gloves. Long story short, the Golden Qi Pao is still more efficient compared to Wizard Gloves.

haha yeah requires alot but i am just a part time compounder so i sell books to my friend or trade them in for eqs made but sometimes i wanna try this and that and so I compound stacking almost 2 of kind in hawaii then ends up to finish first is the golden qi pao recipe XD prolly 86% success on that luckily XD yes the gloves are quite the work too shares the same mats and base with those bracers (which u might need in other compounding so either is okay but rather stick to the shortcut XD) for a year of compounding i will say to you that ive only used less than 3 books in my compound thats cuz i dun have faith on what im compounding XD

I do know them but never share here since the trouble in making them xD,
you will be consuming more basic item too..

Steel Bracers(r23) There are two ways that steel bracers can be made. Method 1 will give you the easiest using hawaii mats and method 2 will show you the longer way without using any hawaii mats.
Method 1(Short Way)
Steel Bracer=Skeleton STEEL Sword + Knight's Helmet
~Skeleton Steel Sword-Sea Armor + Wolf Tooth + Sea Armor
~Knight's Helmet- Skeleton IRON Sword + Refined White Silver
Skeleton IRON Sword- Iron Net Boots + Wolf Tooth + Iron Net Boots
Method 2(Long Way)
Steel Bracer= Skeleton STEEL Sword + Skull Long Spear(r20)/Perfect Long Spear(r21) SSS + r21 is 100%
~Skull Long Spear/Perfect Long Spear-Skeleton Iron Sword + Wolf Tooth + Propeller + Skeleton Iron Sword
Sky Crown+ Steel Bracer= Golden Hatchet/Goldgleam Helm
If you get a goldgleam helm, turn it into a Golden Hatchet using this:
Goldgleam Helm+Long Knight Boots/Steel Helm.
Steel(r24)= Skeleton STEEL Sword + Skeleton STEEL Sword
Gold base is done.
You can use any rank 23/24 items such as emerald necklace to compound the goldgleam but i prefer to use rank 24 steel because you are guarantee to not get a lower base other than the goldgleam itself.
Any other items could make your goldgleam turned into actual sht.
Final Formula once again
Wing Wand + Golden Hatchet/Goldgleam Helm + Black Jade

another way to make beast cuff without using airship steer would be
Steel Thorn Bracer + Steel Cuffs + Steel Thorn Bracers
~Steel Cuffs- Knight's Helmet + Golden Qi Pao
~Knight's Helmet- Skeleton Iron Sword + Refine White Silver
it has the same success rate as using the airship steer.
I just prefer using this method since no one sells original rubber anymore...
