So, if many of you don't know I hated the change of prices and the over inflation of gold on the Taurus server. But in the end, I had to adjust to it and understand that it is going to stay this way. However, is this truly a bad thing?
I hate the prices of the books now. A single book could cost around 1-2 m gold. It can be considered easy money... but what about a stable income.
We all know the idea that getting a job in real life is for the purpose of getting money to pay our bills, expenses and then the leftover money is what we use to make our own lives better. But what if that logic can also be applied to WLO?
Compounders who have a good 10+ superior alchemy should understand that a new time for compounding is here.

To put it frankly, we can now make equipment from scratch and profit for more than we use to make them.

Just today, I used everything I had in order to make a Blue Monster Clothes with no books at all. I estimated that I used a total of 400k gold by the end and even had some equips left over to make more BMC's. However, with the current pricing levels of equipment in Taurus, I could sell a BMC for 1 m gold and no one would accuse me of being cheap. In fact, someone told me they loved the price I set for it. That meant I could make 2 BMC's for a profit of 1.2m gold if both are sold.
800k to make 2 BMC
1m each BMC
2m - 800k = 1.2m profit

So, if you're a compounder who has a good amount of gold to sustain buying materials and has a good experience with building armor from scratch, this kind of time in Taurus is perfect for you.

And I do agree with you even if I am in other server [virgo] books in there are starting to in trade line almost like it is now... only couple sells for gold and luck to find one but also they only sell 1pcs too prices in virgo is up to 500k (mostly 400k for bk 4) and yeah people selling WDA for 1.5m are wow... bookless stuff 1M???

I am a compounder in virgo with lvl 14 sup but still dont get compounding XD only leveled it for nothing JL

opportunity lol. Theres a lot of inflation in taurus now so i think its fair to sell high. i used to sell really cheap but people just got greedy now.

i made more than 200m by making bookless eqs
and let me tell you one thing. bmc for 1.2m is really cheap for taurus. i sold my bmc for 3m. i also made other bookless eqs like dark feather suit(1.2m) and WDAs for 3m. easy profit.
I kinda stop selling eqs for gold since i dont see any benefit anymore. Gold got pretty useless a long time ago.

gold rip bracers are easy gold. 500k is fair enough for our economy.

Green Clothes/Red Net Shoes = Hero Shoes + Rainy Doll
Hero Shoes = Grass Headwear + Grass Hat + Beast Fur Suit
Grass Headwear = Leaf Boots + Special Shoes
Rainy Doll = Metal Gown + Black Jade + Metal Gown
Iron Hatchet = Rip Steel Sword + Jade Helmet
Rip Steel Sword = Steel Helmet/Long Knight Boots + Steel Cuffs
Jade Helmet = Gray Steel Bracers + Emerald Necklace

Ya, the inflation is really getting outta hand. Its kinda hard to start as a compounder now but if you have the superior alchemy from long ago, you should be fine.

I just wanna let you guys know, I made 4 BMC's and sold them for a grand total of 6m minus the 1.6m cost to make them, so about 4.4m profit.

i always fail making rip steel sword and i dont know why XD i follow every recipe of that thing always turns back or change to lower rank XD oh well ima try and try :D

np, I had trouble with the rip steel sword myself but this is by far the best method you can take. Its kind of hard to get the steel helmets and long knight boots too but I almost always get them when I put 2 steel bracers together.
