erm... this probably sounds stupid, but i actually don't know how to burst. I know the idea of bursting, but is there like an order of skills that i cast in every turn? mybe theres a thread that u guys could re-direct me to? I woul d like all elements except wind pls

btw, on that link, they put 'earth/wind'. does this mean that earth is as 'useless' as wind..?

Bear in mind that this guide was made back in 2008 when this game first came out and people were prejudice to winds and earths.

Back then everyone thought only fire and water mages was the most useful and needed element and that earth and wind was a "hobby" element. You were ridiculed and bullied for having a earth or wind or even a water killer. So it was hard for a wind or earth to burst unless people made their own teams. Even today you don't see earths and winds asking for burst, that's because people have learned to just make their own teams.

Also with that in mind remember that was also back when people thought you needed 200 wis... lol people were still learning.

Hmm... so as a earth wis and water str, should i make my own team? or still look for other ppl to burst with? My server kinda seems dead anyway T.T

But it is true, i only created my earth character for quests and the more 'fun' factors of the game like other countries and manufacturing but my server is slowly loosing its popularity now - as earlier mentioned. its full of ppl who just wanna burst,burst,burst and burst so no-one can help me with the more difficult things which i know that even with bursting i might never reach. i have bursted with my bro once or twice, but i cant do it very often.

to conclude, do u guys think i should create a burst team of my own? or still look out for 'good' people? I mean, who dosent wanna get a high level, right?

If people in your sever is nice and they don't care who they burst with then I see no problem with you finding a team.

But if you have the weights and computer space to open 4 or more windows then I think you should make a team.

If you have the money or Items you can also have the options of purchasing burst from some high lvl player.

Doesn't matter where you go all servers are losing their popularity, but if you wait for the week ends or Friday for 15Round you see everyone come back and the server is all full again. It starts to get boring after awhile and people like myself only log in to do the events that will help them benefit. (for example 15round gives you 25% in caps a week so after a couple months you can lvl up with just caps. Even if you no longer play.)

If you want help with quests you will have to look towards the newer players who still play daily or ask in guild and people can schedule you in to quest on a week day when they are not busy. because most of them only log on the week end to burst or train.

In the end the choice is yours. If you find that after a few weeks you are not advancing in trying to get others to help you for free then best would be to make your own team... but the only problem is getting weights.

Best is to do it with your own team, so you'll have full control of the time when you can burst.

For weights, if you cant buy one, you could always find someone selling. You can try your luck on carnie games using fun tokens and get something worth trading. most of the time, some players sell weights that they no longer use. But be sure to have e-remote if you plan to make things easier

hm kk. is it hard to level a team? u know, from level 1 to like 20, for example. they are 4 different characters, after all. and you have to be 10+ to get gs, right?

Its not hard if you have remotes on all of them then they can do it automatically and you don't need to control them. Can even leave them afk while you go to school, work or sleep and come back to them when they need food or what ever. If you are just training and not bursting then you can get your water Soul dodge skill. make sure they have recovery and revive. and your team should be fine because the water will heal them. and soul dodge will replenish its sp so you will never need food. But keep some sp food on just in case there is a glitch and soul dodge fails to work.)

Its also not hard to lvl your team to 20. You can get to lvl 40 in a week. and if you have a training voucher and go to training island also possible to get to 40 in a day or 2. Especially if you have potions.

a 2.5x from Houyi in welling village, catch him a bunny
a 4.5x pot from cupid in holy village, do a valentines pop quiz
a 1.5x from the lady behind the mayors house in holy, she wants you to go to cook's ship to talk to her husband elvis
a 1.5 from cooks ship, he wants you to return the badge. choose the good option to help the sailor.
a 2x from elin quest, get elin.
a 2x from sam's quest, in the basement click on the 4 different gold piles.
and a 2x from the secret room in the mayors house in holy village, room is behind the butler on the first floor click on the burned out touch lamp on the wall to enter. first chest gives you pot there is a second chest in a back room that gives you 5 ship vouchers... or vice versa... been a while since I last did that quest)

All those should be able to help you lvl a little faster (but best to ONLY use pots on double exp days, because you get more benefit from it.) Also best to use Training Island Vouchers on double exp days as well.

As for GS you can get it anytime even at lvl 1. Some people just rather you be 10 or higher because you might need CON so you don't spawn. But with a good team you can get it at lvl 1.

emote you get from Item Mall sadly :\ which means you need real money to get, same as weights.... but unlike emote you can get weights in game from players, quests or credit mall.

If you cannot afford to purchase points you can do surveys.. but I have not been able to see the link for them anymore so I do not know if they are still available. Maybe someone else knows and can link you.

You can burst on ANY mob. Wind is just better because they are weaker to fire. Since Exp is depended on Damage, meaning the more damage dealt the more exp you get then as a fire its easier to kill winds... so that's the reason why.
