Chapter 2 - Exploration of the North. Meeting of the Young Stars

Dark shrugs off the hit. He quietly thinks to himself "Man I have saw big dogs before, but this mushroom is huge." As he quietly looks the mushroom advances. All of the sudden it jumps.
"Bang!!" As the creature flies thru the air dark uses the staff given to him by the pig farmer to whack it. As it splits it two chunks of Mushrooms fly all over the ground. dark thinks to himself "I last ordered spaghetti on the ship right before it crashed, I did ask for no mushrooms."
He wonders along the top of the coastline until he reaches a tree. Underneathe this tree lays a young girl. Nothing daunted and given the fact at every corner there is some strange mushrooms attacking him. he attempts to wake the girl.
She spews out a volley of words that dark has never heard before. He stares at her intently and thinks to himself "Sounds German to me." He helps her up and she continues to ravel on about something that seems important to her but he is obviously has no idea what she is talking about.
As they track along Dark sees giant dragonflies off in the distant. He quickly huddles to the ground and takes a calm look around. After awhile he decides it is time to go back to the village he just left. For some reason fending off giant insects with a stick just does not appeal to him.
After fending off many mushroom attacks they finally make it back to the village. he passes by a house and notices 2 guards in front of the door. he questions them and finds out the village elder is inside.
He enters the house to see an older man with a young woman. As he starts to talk the Old man says "Youth I have a task for you, I need you to go inside the cave and get me the scroll that lies inside it. And so I will know you will make it back I will send with you my daughter. Her name is Roca" Roca steps forward and says "I am glad to meet you, eh, what was your name?" Dark responds "i will have to say i have been to many places but this village seems awfully friendly to someone they do not know. My name is dark and I will go and retrieve this scroll. But i have one question first."
The old man agrees with a nod from his head. Dark prods the young girl he found lying outside the village and gets her to speak. After the first sentence dark, roca, and the old man all look dumfounded at her. dark says "It sounds german to me, but I never studied it in school."
Roca and the old man looks dumbfounded at dark. Dark quickly looks from one side to the next and goes "What?" Roca responds "What is German?"
It was at this point dark had something pop in head. He tought to himself "Toto I do not think we are in Kansas no more." dark chuckles and responds "German is a language in a far oft land from here, but nevermind that lets go get the scroll." Dark leaves the young girl in the care of the Old man and he and Roca set off to the Cave.....
End of Chapter 2....
In the next exciting Chapter - dark and Roca explore the mysterious cave and dark relizes he is not so alone as he once thought here....
