I like @Balthier22's ideas. It does seem empty without the chat but maybe there's something better that can be placed there. Plus, there was always some extra space to the right of the chatbox, so maybe a list of admins for easy pm can be placed there. Btw, I noticed the new layout for posts but I just wanna point out that it makes it very hard to post because my text keeps shifting from place to place.
