The only things that don't break are the RB cape, and the newbie clothes, possible the thight waistband(Calcutta quest, +20 spd special slot). Other than that I suggest you use some instance equips. Those may have sometimes better stats than compounded weapons. For me best equip in instances is a pair of twin swords, ATK+42 SPD+27.
