Well I got Kanako with lvl 52 Fire warrior, lvl 49 water support, and lvl 41 fire warrior + kanako.

Elin with gun/chip is highly recommended since she can take out 3 guards at once.

Make sure Kanako doesn't die.

I'd also not recommend using Speed belt, Belly Chain, or Tim's leash. The guards are no doubt +19 levels higher and these special equips are not replaceable. Don't want to break them.
