Lesy thats full bursting, their talking about semi-bursting or as some call it mini bursting.
anyhow... for full bursting i use:
1st turn- slowdow, pet def
2nd turn- poison spell, pet def
3rd turn- hot fire attack, pet def
4th turn- strongest hit and pet attacks
you actually get more exp doing it this way and u can use pigs too but u have to get new ones often.

for semi-bursting i normally tell ppl that its assist/def, attack, assist/def, attack, assist/def, etc. People seem to remember that easier... as for the pets they can attack as well but its prefered that they defend the whole time. and u can pretty much semi burst on anything.
