Seeing as I couldn't find a thread for it, though I was sure there was one before, maybe I'm just terrible at finding things.

Report fake/false compounds here, with a link, preferably to the creators profile so it doesn't end up being a wild goose chase.

Images above are for example.

Also, the ! does not mean that the compound is wrong always.

There are so many false compounds, it is just not worth bothering to find them and remove them. Just know how compound works, which is easy, and do your thing.
I personally use superior alchemy and know its order in compound. I never made a wrong compound.

Yeah... Sorry that there's so many crap compounds that aren't verified. I was left here for the majority of the time by myself, and I didn't/don't know alchemy other than basics so I would only confirm a couple I knew, while deleting the ! or obvious fake ones/mistakes (for awhile you couldn't change the materials for compounds)

Off topic:
There are also a lot of items missing, but thanks to Nivle we have all the images waiting to be named and uploaded to the server, which we did send off awhile back

I alssoo planned to do 'entire questline for x' posts like how I started with Kanako because the official forum guides deleted a lot, and I knew WLODB is more reliable, but.. Cutscenes made adding these items and questlines difficult because the cutscenes break my game T.T and Melone is no longer in service nor anywhere on the internet (I do have a copy of that, stat calculator and doala, though)

I'm not sure if it's just me or maybe something new, but I've never had success in compounding any low rank metal items (that have ore version, like iron, tin, aluminum) into higher rank ones if I use rock-base (marble, shale, obsidian, basalt) second item. It'd always end up result in ores.

I also never managed to get bluestone from compounding

But I feel like I haven't do enough alchemy for both cases so i'm not sure yet.

offtopic:

Also, how do people figure out what are the new items' base/subbase1/subbase2 etc? From what i read melone don't work anymore for that, but I can't find any discussion about how do people figure things out.

The only source we've got for that is the other WLOs or players that have been playing there; unfortunately, IGG has made it harder for us to like this game with the obsoleting of trusted Melone.

RIP Melone.

If you still want the go forward with the guide, I can try and help out when I have free time after university, just drop me a list of things that you need, preferably discord, though PM's here would work too if you don't use discord.

As for the compounds, I'll trust everyone's judgement on it and that they know how alchemy works if they report here, worst case scenario - it looks like a working compound, I'll just have to go and check it myself a few times.

This entire thread was made due to someone asking where to report false/fake compounds in a bug report thread, I sifted through quite a few compounds, but obviously it's a mess to tackle and I'm not too extremely worried because as long as someone knows how alchemy works and how the jumps work, they'll have no issue differentiating a wrong compound vs a right one.

Could you elaborate more? I think I may be missing something and I'm not quite understanding your issue. What recipes are you using, what alchemy do you have and how big are the rank jumps?

I can't quite exactly answer the base questions, because to my knowledge most bases came from melone and the newer edition items were a wild goose chase through CHWL? (i believe, i honestly don't know as i had quit not long after the release)

Apologize for the double post, but I felt like this deserved a separate post, I'll have to ask someone to mark the compounds that say you can create bluestone via granite + granite with superior alchemy and basalt + basalt with junior alchemy as incorrect, because I've no clue how that works, sry.
Compounded two stacks of of granite + 6 pieces and a stack of basalt + 10 pieces and these are the results.

Basically, any metals that have their ore version (iron, copper, tin, aluminum) will always return ores as result of compounding metal + rock (it's as if the ores have a rock sub-base)

If this is true, this means that any recipes (under rank ~10) that goes something like "metal (iron ores/weapons/plates/etc) + rock (marbles, obsidian, granite, basalt, etc) = anything non-ore" are incorrect.

I've been using superior alchemy though, jumps doesnt matter, whether i go from 3 ranks above the ore's rank or under the ore's rank, i'd always get either ores or common stones. I've tried metal + rock about 15 times total and the result is always ore (or common stone if the rock rank is too low, like for example aluminum plate + shale)

I never usually bothered with trying to compound ores or anything else, but it seems to be this way, unless these people managed to get weird compounds or somehow didn't place the correct materials in place.
I tried for some while with the bluestone just out of curiosity and both of those recipes are incorrect, but I'm not the forum genius, I just usually delete obvious things and move on, I'm not entirely sure how to confirm, etc. compounds.

Yeah, I'm just pointing it out here just incase someone can (or at least tried and failed to) prove that metal + rock can result in anything non-ore (with screenshots/video/or even words are fine as long as not a troll).

Also, I still see the bluestone recipe, is it going to get deleted/marked incorrect soon or are we waiting for more confirmations by others or..?

I'll message Meta later today about it. If you have a list of recipes that you know don't work, you can use [ url=linkhere][/ url] and post a screenshot [ img]url goes here[/ img] of which ones exactly don't work.

Just link the entire thing, I don't believe you can link single compound recipes.
Screenshot + Link and it'll be easier for use to get rid of.
