Mars
Mars is a planet with a red color which was caused by the ferric oxide in the soil. There used to be rivers and lakes on its surface, and some ice is still visible there now. There is little oxygen in the thin atmosphere, which is one reason life has yet to be found there. According to research however, some scientists think maybe something alive is somewhere on Mars. That makes the legends about Mars even more mysterious.
