Thailand, known as Siam in ancient times, was an ancient civilization that was deeply influenced by its religious and common customs. It is said that a Ceylon monk came to Thailand with some Buddhist Relics, and the monks decided to give them to a white elephant whose decision it was to choose a blessed place to build a temple to display the relics. However, the elephant wandered here and there, and finally, with no set location chosen, the people built many dagobas. Now in Thailand you can find the golden dagobas everywhere. What's more, you can see the temples, wall paintings and Buddha Statues are unique in Thailand.
